Overlooking the world

[Darien]

A large russet wolf came running through the Autumn Ridge, he had finally broken through and reached a glacier. H looked around, there were no Laguz around. He sighed in relief and wiped the glisening red blood off his sword. He was in his battle armour, which had aslo been splatered with blood from his erlier fight.

After sheathing his sword he climed the glacier. At the top he scanned the horison, the colours of the sstting sun geamed in his green eyes. Such a world!Barely better than the one I came from.... but I guess this is where I belong, in the fight.

He stared off into nothingness, ignoring the cold ice of the glacier. He just stood there, wondering what his new freedom would bring.

[glow=red,2,300]"You run as if someone was chaseing you...." Mia said watching the wolf gaze out at the horizin[/glow]

[Darien]

Darien looked around to see who was watching him, when they didn't attack he answered.
"I run like I always do. As for you, you seem to be very silent, I couldn't hear you approaching."
either that or I'm just losing my touch.......

[mia]

[glow=red,2,300]Mia held up a paw, spreding it out to show the web like padding, "Lynx are always silent and I am no diffrent. They call me Mia, who would you be?"[/glow]

[Darien]

Darein looked at the lynx for a second, before finally deciding it was safe enough to tell his name. "Darien" he said, "My name is Darein Bane"

[glow=red,2,300]"Pleased to make your aquantiance" Mia said bowing some and then sitting in the snow[/glow]

[Darien]

"Charmed I'm sure, But there's no need for the formalities," he still didn't get why people did that, 15 years of living away from civilization can do that to you.
"So what bring you here, Mia?"

[glow=red,2,300]"The wind...." Mia said with a grin[/glow]

[Darien]

"The wind?" Darien asked confused, wanting more of an explaination. "What do you mean by, the wind?"

[mia]

[glow=red,2,300]"I am like the wind, never really staying anywhere so if the wind would stay I would too.... I fallow the wind and go where it takes me...." Mia said setting her face into a lonely grimmace[/glow]

[Darien]

Darien understood. "I see, I am like that as well, only a little bit different, I follow where my instincts lead me, and today, thaey lead me here."

[mia]

[glow=red,2,300]Mia shrugged, "Instincts, the wind either way we're both here" She said slowly. Getting to her feet she ran and jumped onto an icy rock on a ledge beloow[/glow]

[Darien]

Darien looked down at Mia below him, well it wasn't like I came here to find answers, I know what's going on in my life
"I guess I just felt like coming here......."

[glow=red,2,300]"Do you belive in fate? Maybe it was fate that brought you here..." Mia said still jumping down the glacier, "I'm hungry and am going to get some lunch, you can join me if you want....."[/glow]

[Darien]

Darein shrugged "I don't know about fate. There are times when I like to think there is some power controling your life, then there are other when I belive you are the master of your own destiny. But there is one thing I know for sure, there is no such thing as coincidence.
As for lunch.... maybe, I don't feel to hungry at the moment."
